"Horror and humor go hand in hand. It’s the yin and yang of my world. Both are enjoyable things for me. Horror reminds me of my childhood and that is why it holds a tender place in my heart. I think I like horror because it seems to hit on something personal in everyone. Fear is part of life. It is something real and something you imagine all the time. When the lights go out fear gets turned up. Your brain starts to imagine all kinds of things.”
“Horror is exciting. It’s a natural state of mind and it can be loads of fun. It can't be too serious. People want to escape from everyday life. Life is difficult and dull. Horror is an escape and it needs to be enjoyable.”
